I’ll chalk this up to February being shorter than January, but my ‘stats’ are lower, even though I’m supposed to be doing more work.
February: 44 hours on the bike. 10,000 meters of ascent. There were a lot of indoor rides.
January’s numbers were very similar and less climbing, so at least I’m going in the right direction on that crucial metric.
Maybe more importantly, although I’m still stuck at approximately 72.6 kg (give or take), my body fat seems to be going down. The spare tire is disappearing, slowly, and my calipers tell me that I’m at around 21% fat right now. Not quite Sylvester Stallone in Rocky III, but on the right path.
I am having a battle to get under 25% fat which is embarrassing.
I’ve made a note to self that this battle will not get any easier as I age…
There seems to be no cure for a sweet tooth. I have lost weight and got slimmer over the past year but I have hardly changed my fat percentage at all.
