In case you thought that everything in 2020 was cancelled or postponed, here’s a reminder that Le Grand Boucle starts this Saturday. To make matters even better, it doesn’t begin with a prologue, but an actual stage in the arrière pays of Nice, finishing, as always, along the covid-crowdless Promenade des Anglais.
If you need me, I’ll be here in front of the computer (I don’t have a TV), self isolating for the next 3 weeks.

Here’s hoping it goes the distance!!
With ASO’s ‘two Covid infections’ rule, it might be a race of attrition, but not in the way we are used to seeing!
I think it’s going to be a strange one this year. Last i read was that Roglic who was definitely the favourite was still recovering. Will Dumoulin now slide into that role? Will it finish? I was going to go down to watch it in Nice but with Covid numbers again on the increase and social distancing on some of the races I’ve seen being non existent I’ve decided to do exactly what you’re doing (except on my GCN app). Enjoy
I just cancelled an all-expenses-paid trip to Switzerland to ride in the mountains because of Covid. I must be taking it seriously! I think your decision is wise, too. The Tour is always better on TV (or computer) anyway.
We will be glued to the TV as usual.
