I’m off to the Gran Fondo Saint Tropez this morning, but wanted to gloat a little before I packed up. A few moons ago John and I hosted a very genial journalist from Scotland (Trevor Ward – not Scottish, just like everyone else I meet from there) in the Cévennes. He has written a couple of articles about the experience and I wanted to share his latest – in The Independent. Now, where did I put those climbing legs…?
