Cycling Languedoc will start its European tour on June 7th, mainly playing intimate gigs in small mountain hamlets and the occasional Templar stronghold. I am the roadie for the band, so you may not hear from me for a week or so after the tour starts. You can, however, keep up with us by ‘liking’ our Facebook page, where daily photos and, if we figure out the technology, videos, will be uploaded. You can check our site to see if we will be coming your way, but unless you live in the wonderful rusticity of the Cévennes mountains, you might have to wait for the HBO special.
Have a blast, it looks fabulous. Now I’ll have to figure out Facebook.
Good luck with Facebook and I’ll be thinking of you when we climb the Col de Perjuret.
awesome picture! Have fun!
Thanks, although I can’t take credit for that shot!
Have fun, sounds pretty cool!
It’s a fantastic route and good and hidden from the mainstream cycling tourist!
Where is that place on your main picture with the waterfall into the sea? Great photos.
Jules, it’s actually dumping into the Tarn River. It’s the emergence of one of the many underground rivers that pop out along this gorge, originating on the limestone plateau high above.
Many Thanks. You should get some money from French Tourist Board 😉
You’re right, I should. I’m in the middle of applying for French citizenship, so I’ll take that as a consolation prize.
I hope the weather is kind and the wind forgiving.
I hope so, too. Thanks.
