I have a little project that I’ve been working on since 2011, when I went to see my first Monument. It’s not very original, but since I live in Europe, possible – see all the Monuments live. I’ve been to Paris-Roubaix, Milano-Sanremo twice, and now Il Lombardia.
This race was Thibault Pinot’s last hurrah, as you probably already know. Even at the start, he was surprisingly popular. I knew he loved Italy, but I wasn’t aware that Italy loved him back. There were also some very big names attending this one, as you can see from the pics below, taken from the roll-in to race sign-in.
I’ve already played this game with fewer photos on Instagram, but can you name all the characters in this gallery?
