This is definitely not news, since I just found an article about it from a year ago, but it is to me. Montreal will be the stage for the UCI World Championships in 3 years, 50 years after it hosted the Olympics (sadly, I remember these Olympics).

The course is not known, but apparently there will be a kind of unveiling of news this coming Saturday, in between the two Quebecois GPs.

As Cycling News says, Canada will be the center of the cycling world for 3 weeks in 2026 (the 2 GPs being traditional warm-ups for the Worlds). If you go, let me know what the smoked meat sandwiches are like at Schwartz’s these days. It’s been decades.
