Our Haute Route Alps ‘team’ is taking shape, with two Swedes, a Scottish-Englishman, an Irish-Frenchman and me. We won’t really act as a team at the event (although I am sure that I will ride like a domestique regardless, blowing up on the final climb of each stage), but we’re already planning a long-weekend climbing camp next June in my favorite place in France – Les Cévennes.

We haven’t chosen a base yet for our ‘camp’, but really, all you need is a decent hotel just about anywhere in this area and you are good to go. We still have a couple of spots on the ‘team’, if you are so inclined (…get it?)!
