I’m far from the first to comment on this, but even though I’m late to the party, I just can’t get this out of my head. Did you notice the whacked-out helmets in the TDF time trial the other day?!
The Tour is always a great time to see cycling trends that will never, ever see the light of day outside the La Grande Boucle. We can only hope that the Dark Helmet TT helmet is one of these.

I did not see the TT and have not seen the helments. However, I did laugh when Adam Blythe on Eurosport / GCN attributed Lampaert’s result to the fact that he was the one NOT wearing the goofy new lid.
