This panoramic photo, taken on the northern climb to mighty Mt Bouquet, would show you five sets of mountains in one shot, if the camera had been better.
If you’d like to zoom in and use your imagination you’ll see, from left to right:
The Cévennes (part of the Massif Central, which covers most of central France), The Vercors, The Alps (over 150 km away), Mont Ventoux (this one you can see without imagination) and finally the Alpilles, smack dab in the middle of Provence.
The camera that can take the shot that you have in your mind doesn’t exist.
That’s a shame. I guess there’s still room to use our imaginations, then.
