As I look at the photos I have to upload here I see that they are pretty similar to the others from Part One and Two. Not to helped, I’m afraid, since all three roads go over the same little mountain. However, each seems to have its own character as well.
This last route goes up the east side of the hill, to the unpronounceable village of Poulx.
Then turns east along the top of the hill, wiggling its way towards Cabrieres in and out of hidden valleys.
And turning north to the inevitable descent to the Gardon gorge on the other side.
And finally this great bakery in Sanilhac with beer on tap somehow – a luxury I haven’t had the guts to try yet, since there’s that mountain to get over on the way home!
