I just passed a totally random milestone (or kilometerstone, I guess) by reaching 100,000 kilometers ridden since I joined Strava 12 years ago.

100,000 kilometers is a big distance, but how can you visualize such a long way, you might be asking. Well, Chatgpt has these handy answers:
- It’s 2.5 times around the Earth.
- 25% of the distance to the moon (this just goes to show how unrealistic Ralph Kramden was…Alice would never have gotten that far)
- It’s like driving your car 8 hours a day for a year. This one’s my personal favorite.
And for the record, this doesn’t include trainer rides because I’m not going anywhere.
