I didn’t want to have to pull out the ‘business woman pointing to you and choosing you for her team’ again (the actual name of this photo), but desperate times call for desperate measures. Our Haute Route team had, for a time, reached over 10, but has dwindled a little back to 8.
We are aiming to have a full complement of riders (9) for the event, so the call is going out one more time. Fence sitters, this is your chance!
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, click the link above to get all the awesome details of the HR. Registration opens in November, so you’ve even got a month to save up for it (but only a few hours to convince your spouse…this spot will go fast!).
I really wish I could join you on this one. Something to aim for when my little boy is a little older!
There’ll probably be something even longer and higher by then!
Bring it on! What kind of training do you think you’d need to be doing on a regular basis to do this kind of ride?
Dr. James, I don’t want to thing about the training! Coach Rob says it’ll be similar to last year, with more climbing and starting a month earlier, I think. So, basically, 6 days a week from November till next August.
When do you need to confirm numbers? I really would need to basically make this my job. I’ve been thinking about combining my coaching with my riding. If that works this might indeed be possible. It must be a great feeling rolling into Nice.
I’m still up for it if the place hasn’t gone?
Stop nagging, I can’t do it, I’m walking to the South Pole that week.
We’d love to have you, TP.
i’ll think about it if can you guarantee that there will be rain
Just show up. That’ll take care of the rain.
We have a full deck…..
